Public URLs and post data
SkyArchive processes the public Bluesky post reference you submit and the public post, thread, identity, and media data needed to complete your request. Version 1.2 sends exporter requests in POST bodies instead of placing submitted post URLs in API query strings.
Files and storage
Document and ZIP assembly happens in your browser. SkyArchive does not intentionally retain a copy of your completed archive and does not maintain a recent-URL list in local storage.
Hosting and operational logs
Cloudflare may process standard network, security, and request information to operate and protect the service. Application errors can be logged with route, event type, status, and software version. SkyArchive’s first-party product events are designed not to include the submitted Bluesky URL, post text, media URL, account handle, or archive contents.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled by the application code unless an operator configures it or enables automatic injection in Cloudflare Pages. If enabled, this policy and the live site configuration should identify that change.
Advertising
Advertising placements ship disabled. Before ads are activated, the operator must complete the chosen ad provider’s site review, configure required consent and privacy messaging, publish the authorized seller information when applicable, and update this policy with the provider’s data practices.
No account access
SkyArchive does not request your Bluesky password, private messages, payment information, or permission to act through your Bluesky account.
